We repair HP laptops and desktops in Benidorm, with particular experience in Pavilion, Envy, ProBook, EliteBook, Omen. Free diagnosis and a fixed quote before we touch the machine.
HP is one of the brands we see most often, especially Pavilion and ProBook. The faults repeat a lot, and that works in your favour: we know where to look before taking anything apart.
Shuts down on its own or runs very slowly
The classic Pavilion and ProBook problem. The heatsink fills with dust, temperature rises and the laptop halves its own speed or shuts down to protect itself. A deep clean and new thermal paste fixes it — no parts needed.
The charger only works at a certain angle
Loose power jack from years of plugging and unplugging. Common on EliteBooks. It is a soldering repair on the board, not a replacement part.
The lid creaks or will not close properly
The hinge is starting to give. Worth catching early on HP: once the hinge cracks the plastic frame, the repair goes from one part to half a casing.
Broken screen, lines or dark patches
Full panel replacement. We use original panels, and when a model only takes a compatible one we tell you beforehand, with the price and warranty difference.
Slow to start even when clean
Many mid-range HPs still ship with a mechanical hard drive. Moving to an NVMe SSD is the upgrade you notice most, and we clone the system so you lose nothing.

Parts and availability
HP parts are widely available, even for models six or seven years old, so repairing usually makes sense. One quirk worth knowing: many models hide screws under the rubber feet, and forcing the case without removing them is the fastest way to snap the clips.

Frequently asked questions about HP repair
Is it worth repairing an older HP Pavilion?+
If it is cleaning, drive or battery, almost always yes — with an SSD these machines run well for years. If the motherboard has failed, that needs doing the maths, and we do it with you before you decide.
Do you repair HP desktops and all-in-ones too?+
Yes, as well as laptops we work on HP desktops, all-in-ones and the EliteDesk and ProDesk office machines.
Will I lose my files?+
No. Before any work that touches the drive we take a backup, and when we move you to an SSD we clone the whole system: you switch the machine on and everything is where you left it, only much faster.
How long does a HP repair take?+
Most are done in 24–48 hours. If a part has to be ordered, we give you the exact date in the quote itself, before you leave the machine with us.
