Screen flickers or goes black
On ZenBooks and VivoBooks the flex cable runs very tight through the hinge and eventually fatigues. Sometimes it is only the cable, not the panel — worth checking before quoting a screen.
Dead keys after a spill
If you have spilled something, switch it off and do not plug it in until we see it. Most machines that arrive late are not lost to the liquid — they are lost to being switched on afterwards.
Cracked hinge or bezel
Entry-level VivoBooks have plastic casings and the hinge eventually pulls at the bezel. Repairable, and far cheaper if caught early.
ScreenPad not responding
The second screen on ZenBook Pro Duo models gives driver trouble more often than hardware trouble. We rule out software before changing anything.
